Service Partners – Get More Work - Keep your Company Profile upto date

Our Vetting team here at OrderWork have been busy sifting through the backlog of service partners on our system in order to get ready for a huge nationwide push by several retailers.

Whilst we have strong coverage in major metro areas and many remote areas, we still need to increase the number of quality engineers in each area to deal with the expected volume of work orders we anticipate passing through OrderWork in 2008.

Our vetting team are finding that a large number of service partners have registered with us online but have not fully completed their registration process. We’d like to remind you that in order to receive work orders, you must complete the second stage of the registration by entering 2 references of current or previous clients, and your public liability insurance (and employer’s liability insurance if you have a team of engineers).

Our Vetting Team are beginning a big push to get service partners through our system so we will be contacting each service partner individually to remind them of the second stage of registration.

If it has been a while since you registered, you can still complete your registration and we will do our best to expedite your registration once you have provided the necessary references and insurance.

Keep your profile up to date to get the jobs you want

A number of service partners have told us they are receiving work orders that do not match their skill set. In order for us to route accurate work orders, we need you to keep your profiles up-to-date.

Please ensure that the following information is kept up-to-date at all times.

  • Your skill set expertise – WE NEED TO KNOW YOUR SKILLS!  Are you a TV/Aerial installer? What Certifications do you have? (Microsoft, Cisco, Nortel etc.) Do you specialise in MacAfee or firewall security?  (These are all HOT areas for us). If you are, but haven’t put these in your profile – you could be missing out on work. One tip is to put key words into the ‘Other Information’ box at the end of your company profile. This box is searched with our OrderMatch software which will pick up on any keywords you insert here.

  • Regions you cover – Specify where your head office is located and which regions you are prepared to cover. This enables us to consider you for work in all regions you want to work in.

  • Are your engineers & consultants CRB or SC checked? – 15% of our incoming work orders are requirements for CRB or SC checked engineers. Approximately 5% of our service partners have checked this box on their profile. If your staff has either of these security checks please ensure you have checked the box on your profile and we can start sending you these work orders.

* TOP TIP - Create a group email address for Work Orders

Our buyers generally have tight deadlines for acceptance and an SLA to hit with their clients, so your immediate attention to work orders will increase the chance that you will win more work.  To enable this, it’s best to create a group email address such as orderwork@itservices.co.uk where we can contact your team regardless of which employees are in the office that day. When admin users use their personal email addresses (ie: geoffbridge@itservices.co.uk) to receive our work orders, but are not available or leave that company, then you lose out on these potential revenues. Please try to use both an email and tel number that will stay the same regardless of employees’ office hours or departures.
